NOTICE OF AZCOPS MEMBERSHIP MEETING FOR CWA CONVENTION DELEGATE NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS MAY 17, 2008, AZCOPS PHOENIX OFFICE, 2200 N. Central Ave. #303 Noon
On May 17, 2008, there will an AZCOPS membership meeting immediately following the AZCOPS Board of Directors meeting at approximately noon at the AZCOPS Phoenix office – 2200 N. Central Avenue Suite #303. The purpose of the meeting will be for AZCOPS members to nominate and elect by secret ballot a delegate(s) to the CWA Convention on June 23-25, 2008. |

The Police-Fire Labor Institute has reached its 20-year milestone and wants to show its appreciation to police labor organizations in Arizona, where the PFLI has had terrific participation among your groups.
This past Saturday, five teams from YCSO "represented” at the annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters Bowl for Kid's Sake event in Prescott Valley. Our teams contributed significantly to Yavapai County employees raising over $18,000 for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. During the event, Sgt. Angeleen Wright and Lt. Preston Glodo were acknowledged for raising funds sufficient to sponsor two kids for a full year! 
AZCOPS was born out of rage and a complete disgust with the ‘weak sister’ attitudes of some of these long standing police associations. The AZCOPS philosophy is different. It’s also simple: Treat our members fairly or we will come after you, hard.
