Havasu police department announces new dog licensing fees, discounts
Lake Havasu City will be the vendor for dog licensing within the city limits beginning July 1.
Lake Havasu City will discontinue its vendor service with Petdata, according to a news release. Any renewals or new dog licenses beginning on July 1 must be processed through the city.
Current dog licenses will be honored through their expiration date., the release said.
The new license fees per altered dog, includes a new multi-year discount: 1 year for $14, 2 years for $27, and 3 years for $40. For animals that aren’t spayed or neutered, the 1-year fee is $32, two years is $64, and three years is $96. Senior discounts are available.
Residents may buy or renew their annual dog license by sending a check payable to Lake Havasu City, located at 2360 McCulloch Boulevard North, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, 86403. Dog licenses may also be obtained at the front counter of the Police Department Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or at the Western Arizona Humane Society.
