La Paz County Deputies Association Bulletin 3/15/2016

The La Paz County Deputies Association is proud to have been able to become a new sponsor of the Miss La Paz County pageant this year.  The Miss La Paz County pageant is affiliated with the Miss America Organization pageants and had four contestants this year for the title of Miss La Paz County along with five contestants for the title of Miss La Paz County’s Outstanding Teen.  The La Paz County Deputies Association donated towards the pageant awards as a whole and sponsored a brand new award the “Community Service & Leadership” award.

The contestants were considered for the new award.  We selected the contestant who best embodied the intent of the new award.  The La Paz County Deputies Association was looking for the contestant who has been living a life of service and leadership in their community; a person the youth in our community can really strive to be like.  We found those qualities and more in contestant Yuliana Quezada who won the new award.

Yuliana Q.

We at the La Paz County Deputies Association would like to congratulate the newly crowned Miss La Paz County Allayzia Brault and the newly crowned Miss La Paz County’s Outstanding Teen Guadalupe Balderrama.  We would also like to thank all of the contestants for their participation and excellence in what they do for our community.

Sincerely,

Doug Williams
