Marana Police increase patrols during the holidays

Tucson- Marana Police are working to limit crime during the holiday season.

Police say they see a rise in fraud and theft during this time of year. Their increasing patrols through busy shopping centers, and increasing awareness by talking to the public.

“They love it, its that feeling that they feel safe; that’s what we want to provide for everyone, especially during this busy season,” Marana Police Officer David Danielson said.

Police also warn to not leave shopping bags in out in the open in your car, if you have to, use the trunk.
