“March 16, 2025 – Dave, I just wanted to give you an update since the last time we talked. It’s been about three weeks since I got hired, and it’s been going great. My life feels like it’s finally back on track. I’ve settled back into the structure I used to have, and I’ve been really successful in acclimating back into police work. It’s awesome! I didn’t realize how much I missed it! Field training was only three weeks instead of the usual four months, and I’ve already handled all kinds of calls — from neighbor disputes to a homicide — and I’ve been getting good feedback and recognition from both officers and command staff.
